Fat Amy returns for more hilarity in ‘Pitch Perfect 2’
One of the more underrated gems in the movie world, Pitch Perfect finally gets its much-deserved sequel. The 2012 musical-comedy generated over $113 million in box offices sales, and will now being seeing actress Elizabeth Banks (also starring) takes on the directorial role. The entire cast from the original release returns, but 17-year-old rising actress Hailee Steinfeld will be joining the a cappella collective.
After handling business with the Treblemakers in their last outing, the Barden Bellas leave Barden University this time around to partake in an international competition that no American team has ever won. Throughout the 2-minute trailer that was premiered earlier today on ELLEN, we’re previewed with hilarity the girls will encounter – now with guys on an international scale.
