When you have Zach Galifianakis, Kristen Wiig, Owen Wilson and Jason Sudeikis in a film, you know there’s going to be laughter at some point during the length of the showing.
Although the plot for Masterminds seems redundant (basically, Galifianakis’ character steals money from a bank in a heist that is categorized as the biggest the United States has ever seen), there is bound to be some hilarious moments. Like they say, more money mo problems, because not only do they have to evade from being caught, but there’s people after them who want to take their cash as well. The film is actually based on the 1997 Loomis Fargo Robbery in North Carolina, with a comedic twist.
The Jared Hess-directed film hits theaters nationwide on August 14, 2015.
