The Blade series will now have a female lead
In exactly a month, Wesley Snipes will star in his first ever TV series, for the upcoming NBC drama The Player. In recent years, rumors of a Blade 4 starring Wesley have been topic of discussion but he’s yet to publicly confirm or deny any involvement with the franchise. Reports have now surfaced that a new series centered on Blade’s daughter is set to be the plot for the upcoming long-awaited reboot.
Marvel delayed their recent Blade comic series, which the film is set to now run parallel in the same universe. With Blade gaining such a cult-following and becoming the first successful movie of any Marvel comic book, the studio is properly taking their time to re-launch the series for the first time in over a decade.
