Walt Disney Studios has pushed for a sequel to the Marvel hit!

Over the summer, Marvel Studios officially ended Phase 2 of their Cinematic Universe, with the successful launch of Ant-Man. While the Walt Disney Studios distributed project generated nearly half a billion in box office revenue, Marvel is already planning a sequel.

With New York Comic-Con currently going on, the studio has revealed that the second installment, Ant-Man and the Wasp, will be hitting theaters July 6, 2018. Scott Lang will be making an appearance next spring in Captain America: Civil War; however Black Panther will now move up to February 16, 2018, while Captain Marvel will be pushed back to March 8, 2019.

Three untitled Marvel Studios films were also announced and will be invading theaters on May 1, 2020, July 10, 2020, and November 6, 2020. We’ll likely see those unveiled by next holiday to complete Phase 3. Look for more details to surface in the coming months from Marvel.
