Are you in favor of the Lethal Weapon series returning?
Since its last installment in 1998, the Lethal Weapon series has been extinct for nearly 20 years, but FOX Networks is planning to revive the buddy cop action franchise. While it’s unlikely that Mel Gibson and Danny Glover will return to reprise their roles as detective Martin Riggs and Roger Murtaugh, the series is receiving a TV series reboot, which will be produced by Warner Bros. TV.
The billion dollar box office hit, will focus around Murtaguh, who’s still getting too old for this shit, and his new partner in, Riggs, in the city of Los Angles. Former Chuck writer, Matt Miller is set to co-executive produce the reboot, as actors are yet to be hinted at the moment. Following the success of 12 Monkeys and Scream, Lethal Weapon now joins the likes of Training Day and Behind Enemy Lines among others as the latest motion picture to receive a TV spinoff.
