More celebrity guests!
EMPIRE season two is already poised to be bigger than the first and the way FOX is going about it might get the show to new heights. To join the cast as guest star on the show next season will be Kelly Rowland, who will play Lucious Lyon’s mother in a throwback scene.
The R&B superstar was photographed with the EMPIRE screenwriters recently and speculation has only ramped up since, with fans wondering what role she would play.
Rowland is already joining the likes of Chris Rock, Ne-Yo, Alicia Keys and Lenny Kravitz and guest stars on the show, which will premiere on FOX on September 23. What other celebrities does FOX have up it’s sleeve? We’ll find out soon enough.
