Jeezy Discusses Barack Obama’s Responsibilities & Racial Progress in America

Jeezy stops by the nightly show to talk

As Jeezy gears up for his new album Church in These Streets next month, he’s only a few days removed from his Politically Correct EP. Never one to shy away from discussing social issues when he has an open mic, the Atlanta rapper was recent guest on Comedy Central’s The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore. Along with James Davis and Mike Yard on the panel, the four discussed President Barack Obama’s job over the last eight years, as his term is nearing its end in twelve months.

Jeezy went to touch why El Presidente shouldn’t be the blame for urban issues post-Bush, and how he and his people have to repair certain issues within some of the destroyed communities around the country. Watch above, as the voice of the streets gives his take on how things are slow improving since The Recession and looking at Obama as a normal President without the title.
