We’ve been seeing these True Detective trailers all over HBO recently, and with the new series kicking off at the top of 2014, it made us curious. The show will star Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson as Louisiana detectives, who’s lives intertwine during the reopening of a bizarre murder case, which dates back all the way to 1995.
True Detective will air at 9pm on January 12, following the season premiere of Girls and will span for eight episodes for it’s first season.
