The day has arrived
Since its inception, fans have been clamoring for more apps to show up on next-generation consoles. Up until this point, it seems as if XBOX One has the upper hand over Playstation 4 in that department, with a library that spans Comedy Central, ESPN, FOX Now, MTV, Starz Play, Vine, USA Now and usual suspects like Hulu, Youtube, Netflix and Amazon Instant Video.
Now you can add HBO GO to that bunch.
After months of waiting, HBO has unleashed their app to XBOX One consoles, making it easier to go from playing COD: Advanced Warfare to watching Game of Thrones. This may sway some buyers to spend the cash on a cheaper console this holiday season, especially with the price cut.
The app is free with an HBO subscription and it’s one step closer to making Microsoft’s next-gen console the leader in entertainment for your living room.
Now, if PS4 would pick up the pace.
