‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ Sequels Set for 2017 & 2018

The fantasy continues into the next decade

Are you ready for another sensual experience at the house that Mr. Grey bought? Remember a few days ago when Universal Pictures announced another follow-up to the year’s highest grossing film, Furious 8? Well the distributor giant is set for sequels to its second biggest box office hit for 2015, with the official announcement of Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed – set to release February 10, 2017, and February 9, 2018.

The original film, which released last February, generated over $568 million worldwide in revenue to set up for multiple installments in the new hit-franchise. In comparison to the debut film, where Sam Taylor-Johnson served as director, she will not be returning for the upcoming sequels derived from the E.J. James series.

Now that fans of the film have V-Day weekend confirmations, get a brief preview in the promotional shoot for the upcoming Blu-Ray release, which shows off the very first shot of Jamie Dornan in Fifty Shades Darker.
