Gambino returns to TV
With Community pretty much a wrap, Donald Glover will continue his career on a new network. He has created a pilot for a TV series titled Atlanta, that will merge both comedy and rap and will be about the ATL rap scene. The show will be executive produced by Glover himself (he will also star in it) as well as Paul Simms and Dianne McGunigle.
The pilot will follow Earnest ‘Earn’ Marks, who is described as a “college dropout who reconnects with his long buried ambition and sets out to seize the life he imagined for himself when his estranged cousin becomes a sudden star.”
