With Derek Jeter’s career coming to an end this season, everyone is tipping their hat to the captain and saying their farewell to an end of an era for the New York Yankees. Gatorade is the latest company to dedicate a commercial to him and it’s a special one.
During his ride to Yankees stadium, he decides to walk the streets of The Bronx instead, saying hello to the people, greeting the kids and walking into restaurants that have been wanting him to visit since 1998. The closer he gets to the park, the more people greet him, until he finally suits up and enters the stadium for a standing ovation.
