Ahead of its release later this year, Screen Gems has released an official trailer for the upcoming action-crime horror Deliver Us From Evil, directed by Scott Derrickson, the man behind the likes of Sinister and The Exorcism Of Emily Rose.
The story is based on Ralph Sarchie and Lisa Collier Cool’s 2001 book titled Beware The Night, and casts notable names such as Eric Bana, Olivia Munn, Sean Harris, Édgar Ramírez and Joel McHale. The plot follows the life of a New York police officer named Ralph Sarchie, who faces a number of situations after colliding with a priest, and learns more about the act of exorcism and the effect it’s having on society.
Look out for the movie to hit theaters on July 2nd.
