After 20 years to the month, Beverly Hills Cop will be returning in 2016. The action-comedy series went an extensive hiatus without any releases, but on March 25, 2016 Axel Foley will be dusting off his Detroit Lions jacket out of the closet for the official reboot. Movie studio, Paramount announced Beverly Hills Cop 4 to officially see Eddie Murphy reprising his legendary role of the charming Los Angeles detective. Producer Jerry Bruckheimer will be returning to create alongside Josh Appelbaum (Mission Impossible), who’s already writing a script for filming to begin presumably sometime next year. Look for more details to surface in the coming months regarding additional cast mates and who will be returning to the franchise.
