Apple Announces iPhone 6s September 9th Event

The fun goes down in the Bay Area next month!

Earlier today, Apple sent out private invitations to their upcoming annual event at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, California. The rumbles of an updated iPhone are indeed true, but it won’t be a full transition to the iPhone 7. However, fans looking to upgrade their two-year old model can look for the premiere presentation of the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus on September 9th. Along with the smartphone reveal, consumers can also look for an all-new Siri-enabled Apple TV set-top-box – which is a new device has been long-overdue.

With the transition from the 2,400 seated Cupertino’s Flint Center we’ve been used to in the past; Apple is going all out with the 7,000 seat venue. If they stick to tradition of releases after the event, we can expect the iPhone 6s version to hit retail Friday, September 18th – with the next-generation Apple TV to hit streets soon after.
