Three stacks is invading ABC next spring for American Crime!

After taking last year off from the big screen since starring in the Jimi Hendrix biopic, André Benjamin is set to return to acting in John Ridley’s ABC drama series, American Crime. Andre 3000 will star opposite of Regina King in the second season of the popular show, and will assume the role of Michael Lacroix. Ridley, executive producer of the series, previously worked with Benjamin in Jimi: All Is By My Side, which also wrote and direct.

While the series isn’t due to air its sophomore season until early 2016, the OutKast rapper will see maxim exposure weekly through the show on national TV. If you’ve never watched American Crime and need something to watch before the fall series return in a few weeks, it’s easy to catch up on – granted there’s only 11 episodes.
