Get a glimpse at 2pac in the NWA Biopic!
Throughout the entire promotional campaign for Straight Outta Compton, we never the Tupac Shakur portrayal revealed in any poster or preview trailer. While the late rapper’s role in the film portrayed by Marcc Rose is expected to be a small part, legendary film director John Singleton took to Instagram to share a photo from the N.W.A. biopic set with the man himself. Although Makaveli wasn’t with the rest of his co-stars from the film, Singleton teased that the previously announced 2pac biofilm hasn’t been forgotten and is still coming soon.
Whether or not John uses him as Shakur remains to be seen, but his cameo in the film is one of the most anticipated for the entire affair. We’re just hoping the 2pac project moves finally forward with principle filming in 2016.
