The GOAT soccer video game
We’ve been a fan of FIFA since we can remember, and we mean before the 2000’s. As the only soccer game we ever copped throughout the span of our video game careers, it’s really the only franchise that’s relevant at the moment. This past year, they even incorporated woman teams into the game, something that has never been done before.
For Complex‘s Magnum Opus, video game designers that have worked for FIFA in the past talk about what it’s been like through the years with the game. All the way from the start in 1994 to now, the game has evolved immensely, as technology has gotten better. Some of the video game designers still remember what it was like when they first put the somebody’s face on a character.
The crew also speaks on some of the advances they’ve made over the years and which titles changed the game by leaps and bounds. Every FIFA fan should definitely watch this.
