Judging by last week’s October NPD reveal, Microsoft is desperately trying to convey fans to make a purchase for their AAA-title, Sunset Overdrive. While the Insomniac Games and the first party Xbox One exclusive failed to chart on the top 10 NPD sales last month, Microsoft is allowing fans to get a taste of the open world third-person shooter comedy – FREE. That’s right, you’ll be able to head to Sunset City 2027 all day long and for a full sample of wall-running, zip-lining usage, and grind railing in the complete retail title, even if you don’t have Xbox Live GOLD.
Sunset Overdrive’s 8-player cooperative multiplayer experience, Chaos Squad is also noted in the free-play version today, so hurry up and download the full game for the next 24 hours.
