Playstation TV makes its U.S. debut October 14

Playstation 4 fans will be happy to know that an entire library of old games is hitting the PS4 via Playstation TV this Fall. Sony announced today the hardware for their new accessory will be priced at $99.99, but they are also offering bundle packs for $139.99 that include a DualShock 3 controller, 8GB memory card, and The Lego Movie video game.

Among the perks that PSTV will include out of the box is the ability to play select PS One classics, as well as PS Vita physical and digital games and Playstation 3 titles through PS Now. Not only that, but they are offering the capability to play games in a completely different room through their Remote Play feature.

Basically, you can use the function by turning the console on, activating Remote Play and you’ll be able to use your PS4 controller and another TV (or device) to play your game from anywhere else in the house. XBOX One has nothing like this out currently or on the horizon, so this may actually give Sony another advantage as to why the PS4 reigns supreme.
