Enjoy one new wrestling game next year on mobile platforms

With Mortal Kombat X already slated to impact next-generation consoles next year, Warner Bros. will be tapping into the mobile and tablet marked next year, with the release of WWE Immortals. NetherRealm Studios has been tapped to handle development for the game, which we’re expected to continue from their impressive WWE All-Stars release a few years ago – offering fantasy and arcade action in the squared circle.

Last month’s WWE 2K15 release was one of our most disappointing games to hit retail this year on PS4 and Xbox One, so a new Mortal Kombat-influenced WWE title is a breath of fresh air for those old school wrestling gamers like ourselves. Look for additional details to emerge, as the game’s official launch next year approaches.
