While everyone is placing their bets for the big game on Sunday, so is EA Sports and they’ve successfully crowed this year’s Super Bowl XLIX champion. During a simulation of the game between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks, it comes down to how good the Legion of Boom would handle Tom Brady‘s passing attack.
After dominating much of the first half in the secondary and keeping things close at halftime thanks to a Pick 6 by Earl Thomas to end the 2nd quarter, the offense kicked into gear for the Seahawks after the break, taking a 24-14 lead after three quarters, with Marshawn Lynch rushing in for a touchdown and activating BEASTMODE.
But Touchdown Tommy isn’t one to doubt. He was put in position to make a comeback thanks to a crucial Darrell Revis interception on defense and one throw to Julian Edelman determined the outcome of the game. He only had Kam Chancellor to beat on a race to the endzone and he did.
So according to Madden 15, the Lombardi Trophy will be in Foxborough after the season.
