With Rock Band still nowhere in sight, Dance Central: Spotlight sees an official release date.
First announced during Microsoft’s E3 last month, Harmonix shared an official reveal trailer for their upcoming next installment in Dance Central series. The controller-free, fully immersive franchise from MTV Games finally sees its splash onto next-generation gaming this September 2nd, when Dance Central Spotlight release on Xbox One (also on Xbox 360 at a later date).
In comparison to its previous retail releases, Spotlight goes digital at the convenient price of $9.99 for 10 songs. The soundtrack features the likes of Rihanna, Cher Lloyd, Jason Derulo, 2 Chainz, Pharrell Williams, Kid Ink, Chris Brown, Justin Bieber and will.i.am among many more – which will also be playable this weekend at San Diego Comic-Con.
