Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’s “Realistic Mode” is Most Difficult Experience to Date

Official Call of Duty®: Black Ops III – Story Overview

For whatever reason, we’ve become disinterested with the online multiplayer for Call of Duty this year. Not the entire franchise, but the drop off in action this season from the fast-paced experience we enjoyed in Advanced Warfare. However, we’re very intrigued for the single player side of things for its upcoming release in Black Ops III, which will hopefully translate into some playable online games. One of our hardest task in the history of video gaming, was getting through the Hardened difficulty on Call of Duty 2 in 2005. Well, Activision is introducing its first uber-difficult mode many of you will become frustrated with in November – dubbed Realistic.

In the past, we’ve played Recruit, Regular, Hardened, and Veteran, but the addition of Realistic gives the tile a breath of fresh air – featuring no health-regeneration. While developer Treyarch is yet to reveal exact details about the new difficulty mode, hardcore fans of the series should instantly be attracted to the hardest way of playing the shooting ever.

Look for details to emerge throughout this month, leading up to its November release.
