Activision Officially Reveals “Guitar Hero Live”

Guitar Hero may have just stolen our rock band interest

We have to be completely honest, since the launch of Rock Band in 2007 our passion for Guitar Hero has never been the same. With drums, live singing, bass play and even a keyboard used throughout the years, Electronic Arts definitely hijacked any momentum their third party competitor Activision had at the time.

That may have all changed today, with the official unveiling of Guitar Hero Live. In comparison to showing off the new set-list or instruments, Activision changes the game of musical games with the implementation of live real crowd reactions and Guitar Hero TV, the world’s first playable music video network.

While the rush from a live crowd may be the most exciting time, GHTV is something many of us have always wanted to do as kids – change through various channels and play music with the live bands.

Broken Tide is one the live bands you’ll be playing with at venues’ but the likes of Ed Sheeran, Fall Out Boy, The Black Keys, My Chemical Romance, and Skrillex are some of the acts you can look forward to. Get a taste of G.H. Live in the trailer reveal above and peep the next evolution of the Guitar Hero controller with HERO POWER.
