5 Games We Must Have After Playing Destiny

In the wake of becoming the highest selling new franchise of all time and the year’s biggest release leading up to Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Destiny has observed an unnecessary amount of flack the last week. The title’s only been available for nearly a week and it’s without a doubt the most criticized game we’ve seen in recent memory.

Former Halo developer, Bungie Games left Microsoft a few years ago and ended their time with the popular first-person series to embark on their own independent journey. Third-party publisher, Activision soon backed it, knowing a longtime fan base was still intact of bringing something refreshing to the genre of gaming. After our initial sessions with the MMO-open world title, we’ve had little complaints outside of the campaign’s length to look forward to future adaptions and further downloadable content.

While we’ve all had time to play the title for the last 10 days, there’s been some obvious comparison to some of the biggest titles in history. But the jury is out on whether the latest successful franchise would have influence among its competitive peers in the world of gaming.

Now, let’s see if the competition is paying close attention.
