Sunday, World Peace was ejected for an adverted elbow to Thunder guard James Harden. In a post-game interview World Peace claimed he didn’t see Harden around him and was just celebrating in the heat of the moment; but video evidence suggested otherwise.
The Lakers, who have one game remaining on the season schedule, will be without World Peace 6 games of the upcoming playoffs, if they play 6 games. This is obviously a detrimental blow to the team as World Peace is playing his best basketball of his tenure there. If the Lakers don’t make it past the first round, the suspension will carry over to next season.
